This evening included an unprecedented line up of works by Christopher Bruce, Siobhan Davies, Javier De Frutos and Cesc Gelabert. Following the success of this evening, the company toured this programme across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland in Spring 2010. This will continue in Autumn 2010 and Summer 2011. This is an extremely rare opportunity for venues to programme a world-class evening of choreography by one of the UK's finest exponents of dance. 10 years after its original outing to massive critical acclaim 'Map' still stands alone as a unique and unparalleled collection of works. THE RED ROOM TOUR In the summer of 2009, David Hughes Dance completed a hugely successful tour including a run at The Traverse Theatre as part of its Edinburgh Festival Programme. This was the first time in its history that the Traverse have programmed a Dance Company as part of its Festival Season - history was made! The run of THE RED ROOM was an amazing success, receiving rave reviews and sell-out audiences. David Hughes is one of the UK’s most acclaimed dancers, having worked with DV8 Physical Theatre, Rambert Dance Company, Phoenix Dance Company, London Contemporary Dance Theatre and Siobhan Davies Dance Company.

Al Seed is Artistic Director of the ‘Conflux’ project, Creative Associate of The Arches and was the winner of a Fringe First 2004, and a Herald Angel 2008 for ‘The Fooligan’.
